Creating a Successful profile!

Find Singles in Ministry is a Private Christian Community where you can feel safe and comfortable in your own home while looking for that special someone.
After nine years of reading profiles and seeing things like "Hi: My name is Joe, write me", with no photo, I have to wonder how they ever thought that anyone would ever write them.
We believe that through the essay questions we have made it possible for you to get to know a person a little better before contacting them or responding. In regards to that please fill out your profile questions to allow others the same opportunities that you yourself are looking for.
In your search you want to know as much as you can find out about a person before contacting them.
Allow yourselves the opportunity to learn as much as you possibly can before contacting or responding to each other, and the way to do that is through completing your profile to the best of your ability.
Here at Find Singles in Ministry is where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and dreams. After all who wants a mate that doesn’t share your dreams? Be as honest as you possibly can with yourself and others. State what you are looking for and not what you might believe others want to hear. Show them who you really are. After all you’re safe in your own homes and if you bare your soul ‘so to speak’ no one is going to know but you and that special someone you’re looking for. Of course there are things that need to be left for a more private time such as all the troubles you have had in your life. As Sisters and Brothers In Christ I am sure you know what should be kept private. Now is the time to share and find what you truly want and need.
One of the biggest issues in Christian singles dating on the Internet is and can be really touchy for some people is posting their photos. My intention is not to hurt anyone’s feelings, but I feel I should be as honest as I can be about posting your photos. "It is important to post a photo." "Why" Very simple, other singles want to see what you look like. Be honest. Don’t you really want to know what the person you’re reading about and might want to contact looks like? You know you do. Who wouldn’t?
By letting someone imagine what we look like we sometimes do more damage than good. They may build up an image of mister or misses America and then we’re really in trouble. And most times very hurt! Attraction is something between a man and a woman that really doesn’t have to do with that "Hollywood Image" or the lack of it. If you don’t believe that take a good look around you at all the people you pass by just going to the store. Many of them are not beautiful, but they still have someone.
Remember one thing when you’re looking at your imperfections; that God created man in His own image.
Some people find it’s embarrassing to post their photo and are afraid someone they know might find their photo on a singles site. If that hits home with you; think about this. How many of your married friends are looking at the singles sites and what about your single friends? Do you think they are going the say "hay" I saw you on the Find Singles In Ministry site just yesterday? I don’t think so.
"Ok" So here we are at the bottom line and the bottom line is - if you are truly interested in finding that someone to love and be loved by in return - someone that will share your calling, your hopes, and your dreams then you’re going to have to put some effort into it.
Bottom line: What is required of you?
1.Complete a profile to the best of your ability.
2. Post your photo.
3. Visit often. Read the profiles. View the photos.
4. Don’t be shy. Contact people.
5. Reply to your emails.
6. Be honest, sincere, and open. Allow yourself the opportunity to find the happiness you desire.
